Wedding Photography Policies
Photography Regulations for the Sconset Chapel
To enable the Professional Photographers to accomplish their jobs, but more so to respect the dignity of the Ceremony, we ask that the following regulations be observed:
- Videography is not permitted in the Chapel. Please use your Videographer at the Reception.
- Flashless photography is preferable.
- One Professional Photographer with his/her assistant is permitted per wedding.
- Photographers may shoot from the back of the Chapel and as far front as the 5th pew from the Altar. Shots may also be taken from the area near the two side doors, but no farther front than the 5th pew.
*** Note: At no time may pictures be taken along side of the participants or from the raised Sanctuary area or from the Vestry doorway. - Photography should be limited to the Seating of the Mothers, the Bridal Procession, The Exchange of Vows and Rings, the First Kiss, and the Recessional.
- Photographers are asked to be as unobstrusive as possible.
Requests for Guests
Due to interference with the Professional Photographer and other inappropriate behaviors we've experienced, we ask that guests not use flash nor leave their seats during the Ceremony. Please advise your family and guests and ask for their cooperation.
Thank you.
